I will always resist buying fruit that only looks pretty. What good is having Long Life Tomatoes that look good on the shelf for ages but taste like wet Cardboard? To Supermarkets it is everything I suppose But I have never managed to get excited about fruit that bland I would much rather have a local grown, possibly ugly Tomato on my plate that was full of sweet taste. So whilst to compete I have to buy the prettiest looking Fruit I am always looking for the tastiest!

It’s been a long road, from the days of deliveries by Redhead’s Transport, loading by handcart and arriving with my brother Keith for Beverley Market on the early morning bus. These days it’s a different story, come take a look at us now - we have the biggest range of Fruit & Veg in the North.
